Nature Reserves

Bicuari National Park is a national park in Angola. It is located in the south-west region of the country on the Huila Plateau, about 120 km SE of Lubango. The park is an area of sandy hills and shrub thicket character.

Tundavala Gap is a viewpoint on the edge of the great escarpment called Serra da Leba. It is located about 18 km from the city of Lubango, in the province of Huíla, Angola. It escarpment marks the western boundary of the Bié Plateau. The altitude at the edge exceeds 2200 m, while the lowland below is approximately 1200 m lower, which creates a rather impressive view spanning a span of tens of kilometers.
